Regina Zhao was born in Inner Mongolia Province. She received her Bachelor Degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from Shanghai University in 2012.
Regina then continued her education in Chinese language teaching, and in July 2014, received her Master’s Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL) from Shanghai University.
Her major studies included: Introduction to Chinese Linguistics, Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, Introduction to Second Language Acquisition, the Communication of Chinese Culture, Teaching Case Study in Oversea Classes, Foreign Language Education Psychology, Teaching Methodology of Chinese Language.
From May 2013 through March 2014 in connection with her Master’s Program, Regina worked as a Mandarin teacher in the Confucius Institute at Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. Her responsibilities there also included organizing Chinese Culture Communication Activities. With her professional teaching skills and patient, positive working attitude, Regina will provide our students an enjoyable, meaningful, and highly effective learning experience.
